NGL Pro includes a feature called sender hints — limited clues about who sent you a message. It's important to understand what these hints are and are not:
What sender hints include:
- Approximate location: A general geographic area (e.g., city or region) — not a precise address.
- Device type: Whether the message was sent from an iPhone, Android device, or desktop.
- Time of day: When the message was sent.
What sender hints do NOT include:
- The sender's name, username, or profile
- Exact location or GPS coordinates
- Any personally identifying information
Why is this anonymous?
These hints are deliberately vague and non-identifying. Many people may share the same location or device type, so the hints do not identify a specific person. NGL's core promise of anonymity remains intact even with Pro.
To access sender hints, subscribe to NGL Pro and open any message in your inbox — the hints will appear below the message.
